About us
For over 50 years the tranquil grounds at the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Crematorium have been hosting cremations, burials and other remembrance services. Located on Oriel Avenue in Gorleston, it easy to reach by foot, car and public transport.
Our Bereavement Services team are dedicated to delivering a professional, compassionate and sensitive customer service. They are on hand to offer guidance and advice on arrangements for funeral and memorials, ensuring you are looked after from the beginning to the end. The team will always act with the greatest of dignity and respect at the most difficult of times.
We work closely with funeral directors, clergy and others to ensure the requests of the deceased, their family and friend are carried out.
The chapel is the largest in Norfolk and can seat 120 people for a service, with a calm undercover flower cloister and koi pool area available after the service to allow for a time of reflection.
We take great pride in our memorial grounds, to allow for a calming and uplifting environment for dignified and remembrance services. The grounds also allow the bereaved a space to place a lasting approved tribute to a loved one, that can allow people somewhere to reflect and remember the special times spent with lost loved ones.
Great Yarmouth Crematorium also offer direct funeral services, which are simple, dignified and respectful to lost ones and those in mourning. Further information can be found on our Funeral Services page.
The Bereavement Services team are committed to supporting you in saying goodbye in a way that is fitting to the deceased.
